Corporate social responsibility
Sustainability & environmental protection at Electris
Sustainability and the highest environmental standards in our plant are all part of the direction we have always been heading.
For years, we have been striving for synergy in all our environmental protection initiatives.
What do we do?
We use green from renewable sources
The energy we use comes from renewable sources, with lower emission CO2. A result of this is that we will emitted over 544 tonnes less CO2 into the atmosphere in 2023, than in base year 2019.
We have got the EKO Business certified and have electricity with energy with lower emission CO2 purchase guarantees.
Our company has joined the initiative posadzimy.pl
As a socially responsible company, we carry out a number of activities aimed at reducing CO2 emissions and minimising the impact of our activities on the environment.
This is why we have entered into a partnership with posadzimy.pl to plant trees together.
ISO 26 000 and EcoVadis certificate.
In 2023, we implemented the requirements of ISO 26 000. This is confirmed by our company's entry into the Ecovadis project, in which our sustainability and social responsibility activities were assessed at a high level - we received a bronze medal. In addition, our environmental initiatives have been positively evaluated on the Integrity Next and Position Green platforms.
We support sports personalities
Our company is one of the main sponsors of the savvy and famous mountain and ultramarathon runner, Roman Ficek, who hails from the Maków Podhalański region of Poland. This is also where our head office is located. The origin is not the only thing we have in common. Roman Ficek is the 2022 Polish Ultra skyrunning Champion.
We support work on a student formula car
We are one of the nominal sponsors for and participate in the construction of a modern racing EV by young engineers from the Krakow University of Technology.
